At Halo Vets we understand how precious your pets are, and how difficult it can be to lose our beloved companions. We provide a peaceful and dignified end of life service in your own home.
Having an in-home euthanasia means your pet is in the most comfortable environment, and will remain by your side at all times.
We are an independent, family run practice, with you and your pets at our heart.

Meet the Team
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Charlie Mellor
BVetMed (Hons) PGCertSADent MRCVS
Charlie grew up in the area and studied at the Royal Veterinary College in London, where he graduated top of his class in 2016.
Alongside running Halo Vets, he works locally as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon. He has a varied role in first opinion and A&E practice, and with his Post Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Dentistry he takes dental referrals from all over Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
He is committed to ensuring that our four-legged friends final moments are as comfortable as absolutely possible. Having put his own pets to sleep at home, he understands how important a time it is, and couldn't imagine a nicer place for such a difficult moment.
He lives in Macclesfield with his fiancée Hope and loves hiking in the Peak District in all weathers.

Dr Hope Carveth
BVetMed CertAVP PGCertVPS MRCVS
Hope grew up in Berkshire before studying at the Royal Veterinary College in London. She moved to Cheshire after graduating, and has been here ever since.
Hope enjoys her job at a busy local practice. She has a particular interest in dermatology and has obtained a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and Veterinary Professional Studies.
Driven by the experience of losing her own pets, Hope feels passionately that all owners should have the choice of peaceful and pain-free end of life care for their pet in their own home.
Hope loves all things Poodle, spending time in nature, and tending to her collection of Dahlias and Orchids.

Charlie & Hope are both highly experienced Vets and animal lovers who are passionate about ensuring you, and your treasured pet, get the peaceful final chapter you both deserve.
We want your furry companion to have as comfortable and dignified an end of life as possible.
